Once Upon a Time Season 4 will be including three characters from the massively successful animated movie Frozen, and now there are more details on how often they will appear and in what capacity.

Elsa Look-Alike Hoping To Nab Part As Frozen Character In Once Upon a Time

There has been some confusion on how many episodes Frozen characters Elsa, Anna and Kristoff would be appearing in Season 4 of Once Upon a Time, but TVLine appears to have cleared it up.

In a Thursday spoiler report, TVLine reveals that Elsa will appear in nine episodes of Season 4, Anna will be in between six and eight and Kristoff will be in as many as six.

Once Upon a Time viewers were teased about Elsa's appearance in the Season 3 finale when she appeared only from behind in the finale's final moments. However, it was clear to anyone who had seen Frozen that the iconic blue dress and blonde braid belonged to the ice queen who taught the world to "let it go."

The TVLine report also reveals that there is no word on when exactly fans will be see Elsa, in terms of the movie's timeline. TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich posed the question to Once Upon a Time executive producer Adam Horowitz, asking if fans would be seeing Elsa after she got out of her big "snit," which was featured in the film, or possibly in the midst of it.

"Maybe yes, maybe no. It could be after," Horowitz said. "One can be in a snit for many reasons."

Once Upon a Time Season 4 premieres in fall 2014 on ABC, though the network has not yet announced a specific air date. It will be returning to its regular Sundays at 8 p.m. timeslot.
