After the shocking news that both Jenny McCarthy and Sherri Shepherd were leaving The View, now rumors are starting about who will replace the ladies on the hit talk show.

TMZ reported that the show is searching for both a Latina woman and a conservative to fill the open slots. One woman is named Lauren Sanchez, who was reportedly in the running at the beginning of the show, but lost to Lisa Ling.

For the "conservative" slot, the show is reportedly looking for "a conservative female with a strong, smart point of view."

Names being considered include Margaret Hoover and Abby Huntsman. Huntsman is also said to be guest hosting the show on Tuesday. Huntsman who is the daughter of former Utah governor Jon Huntsman, Jr. Huntsman reportedly considers The View job a "prime gig," but it would "take a lot to get her to leave her job at MSNBC."

The news about Shepherd and McCarthy went public late this week. "It's been seven wonderful years on The View and after careful consideration it is time for me to move on," Shepherd said in a statement to Deadline. "I am extremely grateful to Barbara Walters and Bill Gedde for giving me the opportunity. I look forward to the business opportunities that lay ahead for me and I am incredibly grateful to my View family and my fans for supporting me on this journey."

McCarthy then tweeted about leaving the show, after only joining a year ago.

"If Sherri goes... I go too. #sisters." she tweeted. "My View will be changing too. As will with many hard working folks. Thanks to everyone at the show for your dedication and an amazing year."
