Tori Spelling's mother Candy is opening up about why she never gave her daughter a piece of her late father Aaron Spelling's $600 million dollar fortune after he died.

Candy says that Tori lacked the wherewithal to manage such a large inheritance, thus giving her only $800,000 from her father's estate.

The reality star's mother says that while the two have had a solid relationship in the past few years, she still doesn't trust her daughter when it comes to money, thanks to her inability to save money. Candy even hinted that Tori was very "greedy" when it came to her shopping habits.

"She would close a store and drop $50,000 to $60,000," Candy told the New York Times in a new interview. "I never did anything like that. She just went crazy."

Is Tori Spelling On Her Way To Rehab For Exhaustion? 

Tori has not yet responded to her mother's comments. However, she did recently admit that she finds it difficult living under her current financial terms, given her opulent lifestyle while growing up.

The actress recently spent up to $6,000 on a lavish birthday party for her 6-year-old daughter, Stella.

"It's not my fault I'm an uptown girl stuck in a midtown life," Tori recently said. "I was raised in opulence. My standards are ridiculous high. We can't afford that lifestyle, but when you grow up silver spoon it's hard to go plastic."

Tori and her husband, Dean McDermott, recently went on the record about their financial issues, admitting that they couldn't even afford a vasectomy procedure.

The couple have four children, Liam, 7, Stella, 6, Hattie, 22 months, and Finn, 11-months-old.
