Junior Agent James Aubrey is set to join the FBI on Season 10 of Bones, according to a new spoiler report by TVLine. There is a new casting notice that calls for a young twentysomething who will play James Aubrey, a "charming, charismatic, politically ambitious" man who "views everything as a stepping stone to something better -- head of the FBI or even President of the United States."

The report notes that Booth will be "weary" of the young agent's ambition and intends to bring him back to reality.

It is not known when James Aubrey will be introduced in the new season, but if it's for early in the season, it seems that Booth may not be dealing with the tumultuous events of the Season 9 finale for too long. Booth was arrested for killing three members of the Delta Force amid the Ghost Killer being connected to the FBI conspiracy. He was also shot in the process.

Previous reports have claimed that Booth will have been in jail for three months when Bones picks up again, and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) will have not touched her husband at all within that timespan.

Bones Season 10 is slated to return on a new day this fall, Thursdays at 8 p.m. on Fox. The network has not yet announced a specific premiere date for the long-running series.
