MTV's Awkward aired their mid-season finale a few weeks back, but for those fearing the cast froze to death filming the ski trip, some new photos assure audiences that the cast and crew got in plenty of beach time.

Eva's Brutal Confessions On MTV's Awkward

Last week MTV released a collage of beach photos taken by cast and crew during the final days of shooting before the season four break. Most of the cast participated, including Ashley Rickards, Beau Mirchoff, and season four newcomer Elizabeth Whitson.

Actress Nikki Deloach, who plays Lacey, offered an image of the cast out on the beach, actor Brett Davern, a.k.a. Jake, standing dramatically in front of them with his arms spread out and an intensely posed blank look on his face.

Awkward Mid Season Finale Spoilers

Jillian Rose Reed, who plays Tamara on the series, provided a collage of everyone from the show having some fun in the sun, in bathing suits during the afternoon and jackets in the evening, as well as some close quarters bonding time as they piled together on a sofa and smiled broadly at the camera.

While the cast enjoyed the time together along the coast, they were also thankful to return home for a little relaxation. Davern posted a picture on Instagram Monday of a half-eaten burger alongside the caption "Mmm... Home!"

While a premiere date for the second half of the season has yet to be announced, the series will return to MTV to finish out season four and will likely continue on into season five.
