Last night NBC's America's Got Talent went through the last round of preliminary auditions, and one act proved to be just a little more than the judges had bargained for.

America's Got Talent Judge Defends Act 'On His Knees'

Rogue, 35, is a New York City-based magician who came out to the AGT stage to show his stuff. Rogue became fascinated with magic at the age of six, inspired by prominent magicians of the time.

Rogue's passion for magic did not stop merely at learning the trade. He also owns a magic shop in New York that has been open for over a decade. "I literally eat, drink, and breath magic every single day," grinned Rogue in his pre-performance interview.

Contortionist Might Just Have A 'Million Dollar Act' On America's Got Talent

While he admitted that right now he mostly performs at parties, his goal is to eventually have his own stage show to "impress and inspire people all over the world".

Describing the leading trick in his act as a form of "Russian roulette," Rogue invited judge Mel B to come up onstage and assist with the performance.

The magician had her shuffle up a bag of staple guns, only one of which was loaded. He then asked her to chose one out of the bag based sole on intuition and press it against his head. One by one he had her chose from the four staple guns until only one was left. Judge Heidi Klum plugged her ears and Howie Mandel gasped.

The cameras even cut to different members of the audience, who cringed at the pull of each trigger.

Miraculously, none of the three she chose was the one filled with staples. The magician then pulled out the final staple gun. And used to on a block of wood, proving that none of them had been switched out during the performance.

Mel B was left astounded at the end. Klum, Mandel, and Howard Stern were equally impressed and Rogue was voted through to the next round.

America's Got Talent continues Tuesdays on NBC with returning acts from previous weeks ready to show what they've got.
