Former Twilight star Robert Pattinson is reportedly taking off with his career based upon something that one of his co-workers said, giving some insight to the future that does not involve vampires nor his ex Kristen Stewart.

Robert Pattinson Has An 'Optimistic View Of The World'

Guy Pearce, who worked with Pattinson in the crime drama The Rover, mentioned how Pattinson's life as an actor compares to his life as one.

"He's had a very different existence as an actor than I did," Pearce told Total Film, as published by Independent.IE on Tuesday.

"He's just this megastar," Pearce continued about Pattinson. "I don't know if he struggles with feeling like a valuable actor, as I did, but he shouldn't, if he does. He's amazing."

Pearce them brought up a scene that his fellow actor worked on, which left him with something to look forward to.

"On the second day he was doing this scene where he falls out of the truck and he's sitting there bleeding and I was watching it on the monitor," the actor said. "I looked at [director] David [Michod] and said, 'Wow, he's really good, isn't he?' What he was offering up with regard to the power shifts between us meant I had such great stuff to work with."

This puts Pattinson in a good light especially since he spoke to Salon about how he's no longer a part of Twilight, which could have been a possible reference towards his former on-screen girlfriend.

"I think you end up fighting for all the parts you want anyway," Pattinson said. "I guess as I'm going further and further away from Twilight, the perception slowly becomes something else."
