Even with filming underway for season two of The CW's The Originals, the cast and crew are taking some time out to speak at a few Comic-Con panels this summer.

'The Originals' Cast Talks Season 2

Comic-Con is just around the corner, and most of the cast will be in attendance for The Originals talk being held July 25, 2014. This includes actress Phoebe Tonkin, who plays Hayley on the series.

The Australian actress recently talked a little about the evolution of her role (featured below), as well as what she'd like to see happen in future seasons.

"She's basically played every level of emotion," explained Tonkin of her character, "right now, she doesn't who she is... and it's kind of sad, but it's going to be great to find her again".

So what's in store for Hayley in season two? Tonkin wasn't teasing many spoilers, but she did admit that it would be great to see Hayley and Elijah (Daniel Gillies) get together in the end. "I love working with Daniel so much so I would be very happy if that was my character's storyline for the rest of the series..."

Tonkin did hint, however, that relationships between her and the others will be different come season two. Her relationship with Elijah and Klaus (Joseph Morgan) in particular will see a shift.

"I think they are going to have to deal with a few things..." explained Tonkin, "Elijah only knew Hayley as this kind of mother-to-be and they kind of have to get to know each other a little bit because everything that he knew about her is gone now".

How will the characters deal with the damage done in season one?

The Originals returns for its second season on The CW October 6th at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
