Cote de Pablo Discusses Her Decision To Leave NCIS

During a recent interview with Digital Spy, the blond star was asked whether or not Ziva and Bishop will ever cross paths on the CBS show.

"Maybe," Wickersham joked, adding that they should ask executive producer Gary Glasberg. "I think it would be really fun."

What Can Fans Expect From Season 12 of NCIS

Aside from a Ziva/Bishop scenario, Wickersham also explained what she hopes will happen with her own character on season 12. "I'm excited to see where she goes and where they take her character," she said. "I hope we will meet her husband and maybe know a little bit more about her background."

NCIS has been the top show in the U.S. for the last five years and it recently became the most-watched drama worldwide. An estimated 57.6 million people tuned in to watch the police procedural drama in 2013. Wickersham, who joined the show during season 11, explained why she thinks the series remains so successful.

"I think it comes down to the chemistry between the cast. I think this is a really special cast and a really special team," she said. "You know, it's a crime show, so it's serious. But, I think what makes it so successful is... the comedic elements that they all bring to it and the realness."
