Schilling, who plays Piper Chapman in the series, recently spoke with Vulture about investigative journalist Andrew (Richard Gallagher) potentially returning for Season 3 of the Netflix prison 'dramedy.'

Absolutely," she said. "It's interesting story-wise to start to expose different things that are happening within the prison. I'm curious about it. I don't know what they'll do with him, but I think it's such a valuable exploration."

Schilling also discussed her thoughts on Orange is the New Black entering into the comedy categories for the upcoming Emmys instead of the drama categories.

"I don't think the show is a comedy, and I don't think it's a drama, so I get the dilemma," she admitted. "I can also really understand it skewing toward comedy more than drama? It's hard to say unequivocally, but it probably lives in that world a little more."

The Emmy nominations are set to be announced Thursday morning, and Orange is the New Black is expected to be rewarded with multiple nominations. Awards experts at GoldDerby are predicting that the series will get into Best Comedy Series in addition to Schilling for Lead Actress, Kate Mulgrew (who plays Red) for Supporting Actress and Uzo Aduba (Suzanne) for Guest Actress.

Orange is the New Black Season 3 does not have a specific Netflix release date yet, but it will likely be returning in Summer 2015. Seasons 1 and 2 are currently available for streaming on the site.
