In the recent cover story no Mad Max: Fury Road in Entertainment Weekly, Director George Miller spoke about what fans can expect from this sequel of the 1980 classic.

Mad Max: Fury Road To Inspire Visual Conceptualization For Terminator: Genesis?

The first look at Mad Max: Fury Road, which stars Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron, was revealed via Entertainment Weekly's July cover, the dark and gritty semblance of a ravaged place is effectively captured.

In the interview Miller revealed that the movie will feature very little CGI and minimal dialogue making it a pretty raw experience for audiences.

"I wanted to tell a linear story- a chase that starts as the movie begins and continues for 110 minutes," he said. "Fury Road features few digital effects and even less dialogue. In this crucible of very intense action, the characters are revealed."

The director also spoke to IndieWire recently about avoiding reliance on a script and dialogue: "To not have to rely on dialogue...I knew right off the bat that this was going to be like a huge ballet."

The movie will be featured in the Comic-Con in July and some are expecting the teaser trailer to release soon. Miller has suggested it will be coming out in the "near future." Both the original and the new adaptation have been directed by Miller.

The story in EW also reveals that the shoot was exceptionally gruelling given the desert heat, dust and gritty atmosphere. Doing action sequences in these circumstances only made it tougher. "Nothing about this movie was a walk in the park," Theron told the publication. "Vanity went out the window."

Mad Max: Fury Road will hit theaters on May 15 2015.
