Russell Westbrook, the standout Oklahoma City Thunder guard known for his distinct fashion sense, has teamed up with Barneys to create a new line of unisex eyewear - Westbrook Frames.

The edgy collection, with prices ranging from $95 to $125, will be sold in select New York City locations and online at WestbrookFrames.com. During the off-season, the 25-year-old California native had a hand in designing and launching 10 new pair of high-end pieces. The trendy eyewear officially launched on July 8, as Westbrook took to Twitter to share the news.

In a recent interview, he told Complex that living in Oklahoma plays a major role in his interest in fashion and ultimately, in the launch of his new line.

"There's not much to do there, so during my off-time, I kind of just sit back and go online to keep up with what is happening in the fashion world," he explained.

Though many sports guys have yet to understand his fashion sense (often causing many laughs in post-game round up shows), the fashion world has taken to the 6-foot-3 athlete quite nicely. During Paris Fashion Week, he took over the @BarneysMan instagram account and he's regularly featured in major fashion publications like Women's Wear Daily.

The sleek e-commerce site also encourages visiting fashionistas and sports enthusiasts alike to form a community with the creators of the brand, aligning the culture to see things from Westbrook's point of view, behind the lens.
