Olympic gymnast McKayla Maroney added a new photo to her Instagram page that shows a little more of a revealing side as she enjoys the summer heat.

The picture that was posted on Tuesday shows Maroney sitting on her knees on top of a paddle board. She's wearing a tan bikini that shows off her chest, stomach and legs as she rests her hand on her thighs and looks at the view. Her hair is piled around her head and she adds on a pair of sunglasses.

She's out in the water as the photo shows an artistic background of palm trees and the sky's fading blue colors.

While Maroney is famous for being a gymnast, she's also known for having more than 700,000 followers on Instagram. Another one of her pictures shows her on a hike in Malibu as she wears a grey tank top and has her hair piled into a bun again.

The gymnast recently spoke to ESPN about what she plans to do at nationals in her routines.

"At nationals, I'm going to compete in floor and vault. I want to go in confident and enjoy myself," Maroney said. "I worked so hard to come back. I'm really proud that I'm back, and I want to prove that I'm ready for worlds, which is in October. My goal is to give it my all and see what happens."

Maroney is also known for her "not impressed" look where she quints her mouth to the side.
