Happy Birthday, Sofia Vergara! The Modern Family actress turned 42 on Thursday and celebrated on the set of Don't Mess with Texas. It was also the last day of filming.

The movie crew, including actress Reese Witherspoon and director Anne Fletcher, bought the Colombian actress a birthday cake. Vergara shared the moment on her Instagram with a photo that showed her blowing out her candles.

"Happy verde to me with this two amazing women that I luv and admire!! I will miss u!!@reesewitherspoon and Anne Fletcher," Vergara wrote as the caption.

Vergara had been in New Orleans since May filming the latest Fletcher comedy. In the film, Vergara portrays the wife of a drug boss who finds herself on the run with a San Antonio police offer played by Witherspoon.

As the two Hollywood stars play partners in crime on screen, they also bonded on set and showed off their friendship via social media. For example, Vergara uploaded a photo of herself on Tuesday with a special gift from Witherspoon. The caption read: "Stop spoiling me @reesewitherspoon !! Im going to miss u too much!!!"

A few weeks ago, Witherspoon also shared a photo with Vergara from set and the two were shown handcuffed together. "Things could be worse @sofiavergara #partnerincrime #cuffed," she wrote as the caption. In a previous snapshot, Vergara and Witherspoon were seen with dust masks on their face. "A rare moment of silence with me and @SofiaVergara," Witherspoon captioned the comical shot.

Don't Mess with Texas comes to theaters in May 2015.
