Carrie Underwood celebrated her anniversary yesterday, showing a little affection for her beau over social media. Or at least she tried to and, eventually, got it right.

New Details On Carrie Underwood's Upcoming Album

"Four years ago today, I married my best friend," tweeted Underwood, referring to husband Mike Fisher, "Happy anniversary @mikefisher1212 The best is yet to come and I can't wait!"

@mikefisher1212 is the Twitter handle for singer's NHL husband and, according to E!, the message to @mikefisher1212 was not the first one Underwood sent out.

Originally the star tweeted to @mikefisher and, realizing the error deleted the message and re-wrote one to the correct recipient nine minutes later. @mikefisher is an unused account by a man named Mike Fisher set up back in 2008.

Fisher didn't seem to mind, sending out a message of affection to his wife in return. "Hard to believe its 4 years ago today @carrieunderwood and I were married, "wrote the athlete, "Best thing I've ever done. I love her more now than ever!"

Their anniversary happened to coincide with the announcement of the 2014 Emmy nominations, which revealed that NBC's The Sound Of Music Live, in which Underwood starred, has been nominated for four Emmys.

Fisher is currently out on injury for the Nashville Predators with a ruptured Achilles tendon and Underwood is preparing to tour the country before performing at the Global Citizen Festival in September.

The pair enjoyed a relaxing week together, eating blueberry cobbler and celebrating their four years of marriage.
