'Revenge' ABC: Season 4 To Be Last? Writer's Tease Mind-blowing Future

After a long summer break, the cast and crew of Revenge are back at work. The ABC drama kicked off the new season with their first table read on Friday.

"Excited to see my Revenge fam tomorrow!" tweeted actress Emily VanCamp (Emily/Amanda) on Thursday. "Season 4. Bring it."

The first episode to shoot will be the premiere. A photo (see above) from writer Sallie Patrick revealed that the episode is titled "Renaissance" and was penned by Patrick ("Endurance," "Secrecy") and executive producer Sunil Nayar ("Execution," "Revolution").

While there is a high chance that the premiere will not feature Revenge's signature flashforward, that does not mean the episode's excitement will be diminished. With David Clarke (James Tupper) miraculously back in town and Conrad (Henry Czerny) suddenly deceased, the residents of the Hamptons should have plenty of surprises to keep them on their toes.

"Wish I could show u more," tweeted writer Ted Sullivan alongside a photo of "Renaissance" script. "Went over HUGE!"
