Two ex-boyfriends of R&B star Rihanna are reportedly working together in the music studio, and a reason has apparently been revealed why that's happening.

Chris Brown Didn't Want Any 'Negative Energy?'

On Saturday, TMZ reported that Drake and Chris Brown are making music together for Brown's future album, which likely caused some people to wonder. People may have thought it had something to do with Rihanna or if the two were becoming close friends; while those theories might still remain a question, the site mentioned that the two are working together strictly for the money.

A source allegedly told the site that the two singers can make more money working together than working apart. And Brown aparently has more access to work with other stars, including Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne by participating in this collaboration.

Was Rihanna Scared Of Running Into Chris Brown?

Another possible reason for working with Drake is to sell more albums, which will probably work.

There was a recent report from Hollywood Life that mentioned a situation at the BET Awards in June. Brown was reportedly happy that Drake nor Rihanna showed up.

"He didn't want to be bothered with either of them or have any kind of negative energy from them or anyone else for that matter," a source told the site.

That night seemed to mean a lot to Brown since it showed how much of an entertainer he strives to be.

"When [Chris] got on stage and he saw all his peers and all the fans standing on their feet and cheering for him, it made him believe in himself just that much more," the source said.
