She and Andrew Schmucker may have gotten a fairytale wedding on the season finale of Return to Amish, but life since then has reportedly not gotten better for the cancer-stricken Chapel Peace-Schmucker.

Jeremiah Commits To Returning To An Amish Lifestyle?

Fans of the show learned during the season that she was now suffering from lung cancer, despite being in remission for a year-and-a-half after conquering bone cancer-and now, Peace-Schmucker is asking for any fan help she can get to fund a trip to Mexico-which will allow her to receive an alternative treatment option for her cancer.

On a Facebook fan page for the couple, she posted a heartfelt video where she not only asked her fans for support in funding her ability to get Gerson Therapy-a natural treatment-but also appealed to her critics, asking them to please leave her alone and to take their negative criticisms of her elsewhere.

"...I sleep a lot. I do think that this treatment will work for me," she says in the video. "I'm terrified of chemo. It almost killed me three times last time, and I don't want that again. Please."

"If you can't help that's fine, but no more negative comments on my page," she continued. "I don't like it. No one likes it. If you don't believe me about my health, delete yourself from my page. I don't want people like that on my page. I am how I am and a little later on I'll post another video. I'll show you my number one reason. My reason for believing, my reason for wanting another day, my reason for begging, wanting a prayer to be answered. Please."

Schmucker has set up a new page on Gofundme, where she is asking her fans and supporters to donate so she and Andrew can go to Mexico for the Gerson treatments. As of press time, she has raised $1,635.00 of a $5,000 goal.

"In difficult times, we need to come together and in this very difficult time for Chapel, she needs our help more than ever. With your help and support, we will reach our goal and no matter how much you donate, it is all greatly appreciated. We thank you!," the page says. "The Gerson Project offers an all natural organic cure to fight cancer.. This is something Chapel feels so strongly about... Medical coverage does not cover this treatment.. Its much safer than Chemo... Last time around Chemo almost ended her life on three occasions can't blame a the girl for wanting to find another way.. Thank You for all you do...".

This is not the first time Schmucker has sought support in helping her for her cancer treatments. She also had a youcaring.com fundraiser six months ago-but only raised $55 of a $1000 goal.

She also has been defended against her critics by fellow cast member Sabrina High, who went on a rant on her own Facebook page in June, saying those who were claiming Chapel was faking her cancer for the cameras made her sick.

"This is for all who watch the show...apparently people are saying that since the show is 'fake' they are daring to voice their concerns that my friend Chapel is just pretending to have stage 4 cancer," she wrote. "If you think that is a legit concern, you need your head examined."

"You are a POS for even thinking that. How would you feel if you or someone you love had cancer and people were saying 'oh you're just pretending to have cancer.' Wtf is wrong with people??! Makes me sick," she continued. "If you wanna judge somebody with cancer then I honestly hope someday you get to experience it for yourself firsthand and then maybe you'll realize what a complete jerk you were. Chapel is a beautiful, strong, intelligent soul, and she is a ray of sunshine wherever she goes. She needs all the support she can get right now. She doesn't deserve to be hated on like this. No wonder the world is the way it is these days with people being so f---ing ignorant all the time."
