After the shocking moment that took place on Downton Abbey with Anna, it turns out that this could create a scar for her even though she and her husband will try to move on.

Lady Mary To Be Involved In New Romance?

On Tuesday, E! News updated its spoiler chat where they posted some news from actress Joanna Froggatt (Anna) who revealed how the fifth season is going to start with her character as well as Mr. Bates after the sexual assault incident.

"Anna and Bates do start season five in a more positive place than they were in season four, but obviously such an event is not something that dissipates or goes away. It's something that people live with for the rest of their lives," the actress said.

Anna Will Have 'More Hurdles To Cross?'

As much as Anna and Mr. Bates try to move on, unfortunately, they may not ever get their full happiness back. The site pointed out that there's still a cloud hanging over them even if they have changed.

Froggatt also spoke with The Wrap about the incident where she mentioned that Anna's not going to be entirely sure on what happened with Mr. Green's death.

"There is sort of a question mark behind the whole situation of Mr. Green's death," she said. "I can't think of any point that Anna really believes that Mr. Bates has done it. She has this doubt in her mind because as far as she knows Bates doesn't know who attacked her, who raped her."

Downton Abbey Season 5 is expected to premiere in January 2015 on PBS.
