Harry Styles isn't the only One Direction member to branch out -- Liam Payne has revealed he's been writing on his own, as well.

Zayn Malik Gets Twitter Love From Liam Payne After Concert

On his Instagram account, Payne wrote, "Just going to bed been studio written a pure banger for you guys who like dance more info to come" 1D has been trying out many different types of songs for their next album, so it shouldn't surprise fans that maybe dance music would be one of them.

Recently producer Naughty Boy even joked that 1D singer Zayn Malik was rapping in the studio. "Zayn's actually quite a good rapper, we've been in the studio doing some One Direction stuff, and he can spit bars!" the producer said. "Of course he can! Big up Zayn and his bars." Malik went on to deny he'd be rapping on any new 1D album, however. "I'm not rapping; I don't know where that's come from."

With all of this separate writing for their new album, One Direction fans got worried when Styles set up his own publishing company recently.

The Mirror reported that Styles set up limited company HSA Publishing Ltd with 1D accountant Alan McEvoy with just himself and McEvoy as directors of the new company.

1D reps denied that Styles was going solo, but did say that all of the members of the boy band write separately. "Harry has no current plans to release any solo material - his focus is on writing and recording the new One Direction album, and then the world tour which continues in 2015," the rep said. "The band are currently recording their 4th album. Their finances are of course private, but each of them are setting up their own companies as they all write separately for One Direction as well as together."

1D just wrapped up their European leg of their Where We Are tour in Portugal.
