The Vampire Diaries cast is back on set to film season 5 and co-stars Nina Dobrev and Kat Graham were clearly having a great time.

The two leading ladies shared photos on their Instagram accounts from the first day back on The CW set in Atlanta.

Dobrev, who plays Elena Gilbert, uploaded an adorable collage with the caption, "Day one of #TVD It's been a long summer. #reunion #truelove."

Graham, aka Bonnie Bennett, also shared one of those photos with the caption, "My lovey is back!!"

Graham previously revealed that her character would return to the show after she was presumed dead after the season 5 finale. "She is [back next season], but I don't know in what form or for how long," Graham recently told TVLine.com.

The 24-year-old also said that she was "just as shocked as the next person" when she discovered her fate at the end of last season. "I've been on the show for five years, and I cried when I watched the finale," she added.

Executive Producer Julie Plec previously revealed that The Other Side is indeed destroyed, but that Damon (Ian Somerhalder) is also returning for season 6. Yet, it's unclear in what capacity fans will get to see the beloved character.

"I mean, there's a million different ways that you can do that," she told Entertainment Weekly. "But as far as in what context - how, why, and where? - that's part of the mystery."
