Are Charlize Theron and Sean Penn getting married soon? A new report claims the two are looking to tie-the-knot this upcoming summer.

Us Weekly (via The Daily Mail) claims that Theron and Penn will get married in South Africa this summer. "They want to get married very soon," a source told the magazine. Although the couple just went public this year, Theron and Penn have been friends for around 18 years.

"Sean and I have known each other for 18 years. We were just really good friends. And it's been slow going because you are aware that you could screw that up and lose it," Theron spilled in Vogue. "We had to think about it. But at the end of the day, it was somewhat effortless."

"Charlize has seen Sean grow up," an insider said. "He's a wiser soul and much more patient.. They are looking to the future with a lot of hope."

In addition, the magazine claims that Theron and Penn want to add to their brood. Theron has one son, Jackson, who she adopted before dating Penn. Penn, meanwhile, has two grown children with ex-wife Robin Wright. Theron previously was in a long-term relationship with actor Stuart Townsend and was linked to Keanu Reaves.

"Charlize always intended to have another child," a source said. The source also said that Penn is like a "father figure" to Jackson.

Penn will next be directing Theron in the film The Last Face, which is set to shoot in South Africa this summer.
