Everything must come to an end eventually. Here are four Broadway shows that will end their run this summer.

Rocky

Many theater critics may have deemed the musical adaptation of the Oscar-winning film starring Sylvester Stallone a hit, but it wasn't enough to keep it on Broadway. Leading man Andy Karl was even nominated for a Tony award this year - he lost to Neil Patrick Harris. Rocky will close on Aug. 17.

Holler if Ya Hear Me

The musical, based on the popular songs of late rapper Tupac Shakur, will have its last show on Sunday. It was on Broadway for less than two months and only pulled in $155,000, according to The Associated Press.

Of Mice and Men

The Broadway version John Steinbeck's classic novel - which saw the musical debut of James Franco - will come to a close on July 27 after a short run. Of Mice and Men, also starring Leighton Meester and Chris O'Dowd, opened on April 16.

Newsies

Newsies will come to a close on Aug. 24 after two and a half years. The musical has been a huge success for Disney - it's grossed more than $100 million to date - and has overshadowed the company's previous flops on Broadway with The Little Mermaid (2009) and Tarzan (2007). The company didn't give an explanation for closing the show, but The New York Times pointed out that the ticket sales began to decrease. However, Disney fans can still enjoy Aladdin on Broadway with Adam Jacobs as the lead character and Tony winner James Monroe Iglehart as Genie.
