Cristiano Ronaldo may be a superstar soccer player, but his girlfriend, Irina Shayk is gearing up to take the film world by storm. Shayk is starring in the upcoming Hercules with Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson as Megara. Shayk said she learned a lot from working with The Rock on the film.

"It was really great to work with Dwayne, he's very professional," Shayk told British Vogue, published on Monday. "He helped me a lot, just him being there, looking at me, really helped. I felt very attached to my 'husband' which made it easier for me."

Shayk admitted she's not a "professional actress," so it was great to have the support from her fellow actors.

Even though it was only her first movie role, Shayk said she would be open to doing more, although she still loves modeling. "I love fashion, and I love to be a model, but definitely I enjoyed making this movie and I would like to act again," the Sports Illustrated cover model said. "If something different or something great comes along I'll give it a try. You can never plan, it's like a lottery. Modeling opens so many doors - television hosting, acting, designing - so you can never plan. Let's see."

One of those things was posing with her boyfriend Ronaldo on the cover of Vogue Spain in only a towel. Although she didn't mention Ronaldo by name, she did say how enjoyable the process was of shooting that cover.

"You know, the Vogue cover was so much fun, it was a great team," she said. "You can never go wrong with Mario Testino."

Hercules opens everywhere on July 25, 2014.
