Recently, Kanye West surprised some folks at a London club with a bunch of unreleased songs, making a new album seem eminent.

Kanye West Visits Jimmy Kimmel Live

In a new interview with GQ that came out on Monday, West delivered more news about a new album which, indeed, should be out relatively soon.

West says he wants to get the first single, entitled "All Day," out within "the next couple of weeks," so Kanye fans should keep an eye out on that. He also says he hopes to have the new album out in September, but that he may also release it in October or November. West seems to be wishy washy on this subject, and the stories and rumors surrounding the recording of his last album Yeezus makes it seem quite possible, if not likely, that Kanye will end up pushing this album back a bit.

Kanye West Rants

Even if that is the case, this is the quickest turnaround for West in quite some time when it comes to a new record. He hasn't released albums in consecutive years since he released 808s & Heartbreak in 2008. Kanye has also said that his new album, which does not have a name yet, was influenced by West's wife Kim Kardashian, who he says has given him "new skill sets." A new Kanye West album influenced by Kim Kardashian? That might sound bizarre on the surface, but West's recent output has been both eccentric and well-received, so there is probably no reason to worry about him or his music at this point.
