Actress Uma Thurman gave birth to a baby girl on Sunday, July 15. It is her first child with current boyfriend Arpad Busson. No further information is available at this time.
Thurman, 42, also has two children with ex-husband Ethan Hawke: Maya, 13, and Levon, 10. Busson, 29, also has two sons with model Elle Macpherson: Arpad Flynn Alexander, 14, and Aurelius Cy Andrea, 9.
The Golden Globe award winner and Busson started dating in 2007 and were previously engaged, before calling it off in 2009. They got back together in 2011. According to sources, the pair had not planned on starting a family but were excited about the news that they were expecting.
A source told Us Weekly, "Uma was definitely not planning on having another kid. It was a surprise."
The couple had a baby shower on May 31 in NYC with a pink elephant theme.
Thurman married her first husband gary Oldman in 1990, before divorcing in 1992. In 1998, she married Ethan Hawke before separating in 2003.
The mother of three is best known for her roles in Quentin Tarantino's "Pulp Fiction," and "Kill Bill" films. She also starred in the HBO miniseries "Hysterical Blindness".
