Avengers 2's Hulk will not be journeying to Planet Hulk anytime soon.

Is JARVIS Part Of The Vision In 'Avengers 2'? Joss Whedon & Robert Downey Jr Explain Paul Bettany's 'Age Of Ultron' Character

Bruce Banner's (Mark Ruffalo) alter-ego may (or may not) end Age of Ultron by rocketing towards the stars, but even if he does leave Earth, there is no Planet Hulk film currently in the pipe line.

Marvel Studios President of Production Kevin Fiege squashed the recent rumors in an interview with IGN, stating that Mark Ruffalo's iteration of the Hulk would not be 'utilized' in a Planet Hulk film and therefore it would not serve the purpose Marvel envisions for a solo Hulk film.

"Well that's why there are no plans for Planet Hulk anytime soon," Fiege explained. "Maybe it could exist, someday. I don't think that's the first place we would go though for the very reason that you stated, which is, if we were ever able to do a standalone Hulk movie, 60 percent of the fun would be seeing Mark Ruffalo leading a Marvel movie -- and that's what we would do if we ever went down that road."
