Detonators Alliance Set To Control Another Week in the Big Brother 16 House

After Victoria won the Power of Veto, it became clear that she would be taking herself off the block. Cody was stressed about who to put up as a replacement nomination to sit next to Brittany. Many people were in his ear about nominating Donny because that would essentially ensure Brittany going home.

Cody was feeling guilty about putting Donny up and suggested nominating Caleb instead, someone he felt betrayed his trust by turning down the Power of Veto in the competition. This did not gain much traction as many people in his Detonators alliance told him that Caleb had a good chance of going home if he was nominated.

Early Monday morning, Cody had a discussion with Donny about the upcoming Veto Ceremony. Donny attempted to manipulate Cody by telling him that his family would be watching his actions and suggested that he put up Caleb. Cody was emotionally stirred by their talk and he promised Donny that he wouldn't nominate him.

However, when the live feeds returned after the Ceremony, it became apparent that Cody went back on his word and nominated Donny anyway.

In the wake of Cody's decision, many houseguests went up to Donny and promised him that they would be voting out Brittany on Thursday. The houseguests are trying to make Brittany feel comfortable so that she doesn't scramble and try to campaign to stay.

If all goes as planned for the Detonators alliance, Brittany will be the one going home Thursday, though things change daily in the Big Brother house.

The next episode of Big Brother 16 airs Wednesday at 8/7c on CBS, featuring the Power of Veto Competition and the Veto Ceremony.
