The latest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, this time produced by Michael Bay, is set to come out August 8.

New Promo For Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie Unveiled

A new trailer was released recently, but all movies get trailers. Not all movies get rap songs recorded for them, and not all rap songs are about pizza loving turtles who are also ninjas, either. On Tuesday, The Rolling Stone reported about the dropping of the song "Shell Shocked," which will appear in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie.

Following in the footsteps of Vanilla Ice and his "Ninja Rap" from the second film of the original TMNT trilogy, Wiz Khalifa, Juicy J, and Ty Dolla $ign joined forces for "Shell Shocked." Khalifa apparently has a Donatello tattoo, showing his affinity for the ninja turtle that does machines. It would seem that Khalifa, with his marijuana heavy lyrical content, would be bigger fan of Michelangelo the party dude, but sometimes the world is full of surprises.

Johnny Knoxville Cast As Voice Of Leonardo

The song features many references to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and it all feels sort of weird, but perhaps it will help generate interest in the movie. Although, that seems unlikely, as the general consensus floating around the Internet is that "Shell Shocked" is terrible. The film, in addition to featuring the ninja turtles, sees Megan Fox as April O'Neil, Will Arnett voicing Shredder, and Tony Shalhoub voicing Splinter, the rat sensei of Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo. It has been over 20 years since the last TMNT movie to feature live action characters. If it is a success, there will likely be sequels, and then perhaps there will be even more rap songs about turtles and pizza to record.
