Supernatural Sam Winchester's will spend several months looking for his brother before season 10 begins, but he won't actually know what Dean has become until they come face to face.

Dean Very Aware Of Demon Dean's Actions, Monstrous Sam Emerges On 'Supernatural'

It seems the older Winchester brother ditched the bunker after "Do You Believe In Miracles," but didn't take the time to fill Sammy (Jared Padalecki) in on the details of his new identity. Luckily for fans, this means Sam and Dean's (Jensen Ackles) initial confrontation will be front and center when the series returns.

"You are not going to miss that moment," teased executive producer Jeremy Carver, according to Zap2It. "That did not happen off screen, while we were on hiatus. I promise, you will be there when that happens."

Fortunately (or unfortunately, when you see how off the rails Sam goes to find the missing demon), the brothers' newly repaired bond will be back in the plot thanks to Dean's heartbreaking "I'm proud of us" moment.

"Absolutely, everything that happened at the end of Season 9 will carry over into Sam's relentless pursuit of his brother and to save his brother, as opposed to Season 8 when he didn't even look for him, you know?" Carver explained to Zap2It. "It's all built off that moment in the Season 9 finale, that reconciliation that happened...There's always some friction among the brothers but I would say the relationship is in a good place."
