After a tough couple of weeks for Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi, the TV talk show host revealed amazing news for her wife on her Twitter account: de Rossi is going to be on Scandal.

Ellen DeGeneres' Work Schedule Rumored Reason For Marital Fights

Wednesday on her Twitter account, DeGeneres posted, "So annoying when people brag on twitter & that's why I'm not tweeting that Portia just signed on to do a top secret arc on Scandal. Oops."

TVLine confirmed the good news and said that de Rossi has been booked for multiple episodes for Season 4. Scandal is set to return on September 25 to ABC. This is great news, especially for de Rossi, who reportedly went to rehab in May for alcohol issues.

In Touch Weekly reported that de Rossi entered the Passages Malibu rehab facility in early May for a 30-day treatment. There were also reports that DeGeneres had cheated on her wife. In Touch Weekly reported on July 16 that de Rossi thinks DeGeneres "had an affair with one of their mutual friends right before Portia's rehab stint in May."

Although many sources confirmed issues in their marriage, People reported that it wouldn't be a surprise to friends if they renewed their wedding vows this August. "They both love to celebrate special occasions and holidays, and their wedding anniversary is no different," a source told the magazine. "They really are a lovely couple. They enjoy being married, and it shows."
