It looks as though Kerry Washington loves to spend a little time at the Happiest Place on Earth just like the rest of us. The Hollywood actress took her family on a fun-filled day to Disneyland in California where she enjoyed an afternoon of park rides and character meet-and-greets.

Kerry Washington Steps Out With Her Daughter Isabelle For The First Time  

Washington was joined by her husband Nnamdi Asomugha, their daughter Isabelle and a nanny during their outing. It was one of the rare public outings that the couple take together since the birth of their daughter back in May.

"Thank you @Disneyland for an AWESOME time with my family and friends yesterday! #I<3TowerofTerror," the actress posted on Instagram on Tuesday.

Kerry Washington Looking To Leave The Show For A Role On Game Of Thrones Instead?  

According to ABC News, Washington was spotted at the theme park around 4 p.m. and stayed for the evening. She and her husband rode Disney rides like Space Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, the Haunted Mansion and of course the Tower of Terror, which the actress says was one of her favorite rides. The couple also enjoyed some churros and cotton candy as well.

Disney, meanwhile, tweeted Washington back saying, "Our pleasure, Kerry! We're glad to hear even gladiators aren't afraid of dropping into the fifth dimension," citing the Tower of Terror ride.

Washington will be back on the small screen this Fall in Scandal, where she plays Olivia Wilde on the hit ABC drama.
