Katee Sackhoff is in her third season played Deputy Victoria "Vic" Moretti on Longmire, and this season has been pretty significant for her character.

Spoilers For Next Week's Episode Of Longmire

On Monday, Zap2It reported on some of Sackhoff's thoughts and feelings on what's going on with the character right now, and what the future holds for Vic.

Moretti is dealing with a stalker this year, and other matters involved with being a law enforcement agent in rural Wyoming, but there is also, of course, the matter of her burgeoning personal feelings for Walt Longmire, the sheriff played by Robert Taylor. When asked about her character and where she stands currently, Sackhoff said, "Vic's on an interesting little roller coaster this year. We sort of figure out why her stalker is doing what he's doing, and whether Vic is actually at fault for it. It's an interesting turn of events."

Vic Gets An Ultimatum On Longmire

Sackhoff also says that she enjoys playing out the relationship between her character and Walt. The show is based on a series of books by Craig Johnson, and the folks who have read those books know it is a matter of when, not if, the two will get together, provided the show follows the book's lead, that is. Then, of course, the show has to make sure they handle it successfully, because TV fans often get pretty attached to potential romantic relationships. However, despite this burgeoning romance, Sackhoff also says that she appreciates the fact Vic is her own woman and self-sufficient.

Longmire airs on Mondays at 10:00 p.m. on A&E. There are two episodes left in season 3. Will Vic and Longmire's relationship take it to the next level in that time? Fans will find out over the next couple of weeks.
