Katie Holmes, No Puppy For Suri Cruise

Newly single mother Katie Holmes was finally the one on the receiving end, only this time it was a temper tantrum thrown by her 6 year-old daughter Suri.  The little one began sobbing when the former "Dawson's Creek" standout refused to buy her a black and white Maltese-Yorkshire Terrier mixed puppy from a Manhattan Pet Store.

Once the hurtful decision was made, the Tom Cruise arch-nemesis led Suri away and out of the store.  Suri's puppy pain came just mere days after Holmes gained primary custody of her in court.

In the miniscule chance you haven't heard, Holmes had recently divorced devout Scientologist actor Tom Cruise on June the 28^th.  It has also been reported that the couch-jumper was "blindsided" by her move. 

Sources believe that one of the main contributing factors was indeed the Scientology; as Holmes, who grew up Catholic, was deeply concerned about Suri's religious involvement into the world of Scientology. 

Holmes has enrolled Suri into the renowned Convent of the Sacred Heart Catholic School.  The Upper East Side all-girls school is the very institution that also taught Caroline Kennedy and the infamous Lady Gaga.  They charge a whopping $39,000 annually for tuition!

Katie, we know you have enough crap of your own to continue cleaning up, but you should really buy the poor child a dog; you know your maid will watch it during school days and clean up after it anyway!
