There's a reason The CW's The Originals star Joseph Morgan (Master and Commander, Armistice) has been noticeably absent from social media, and it's not for lack of bragging material.

Actor Joseph Morgan Reveals 1st Favorite Vampire Movies

The 33-year-old actor, who plays Klaus on the series, wed fiancé and former Vampire Diaries co-star Persia White (Dysfunctional Friends, Spoken Word) in Ocho Rios, Jamaica on July 5. The intimate gather consisted of 25 close friends and family. They chose to tie the knot in Jamaica because it was where they first got engaged.

"It had a very rustic feel to it," the 41-year-old actress explained to People on Tuesday. "There was nothing about it that was overwhelming or very huge or fabulous in that way. We tried to keep everything really intimate and beautiful and sort of going along with nature."

White stunned in a Vera Wang gown and flowers in her hair, with Morgan matching in an ivory silk Miguel Wilson tuxedo. "And then I had a bow tie," said Morgan, "In fact, the bow tie was the first bow tie I've ever tied myself, so I was quite proud of that."

Morgan and White first met while filming for The Vampire Diaries third season on The CW.

While the pair had a very select guest list, Morgan's Armistice director Luke Massey made the cut, as did his Armistice costar and best friend Matt Ryan, who served as his best man. The pair have been friends for nearly 20 years. "He actually plays John Constantine on the new NBC show Constantine," added Morgan, "But we've been friends since we were teenagers."

Morgan and White honeymooned in Negril and even went cliff jumping, which White admitted was rather "daunting".

While the couple have only been married for a short time, the pair are interested in starting a family at some point in the future. "Little cute mini Josephs!" declared White. For now, however, the two will continue working, with Morgan making an appearance with The Originals cast in San Diego for Comic Con.

The Originals returns to The CW on Monday, October 6 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
