Country singer Blake Shelton is one man who isn't intimidated by strong women. In fact, he prefers to surround himself with them.

"My small circle of family includes 3 of most important female artists of all time," Shelton tweeted late last night, "Damn proud… And I mean of ALL time… How lucky am I?!!"

Moments later the singer elaborated on the statement by naming the three women, including Reba McEntire, Kelly Clarkson and his wife Miranda Lambert.

Shelton draws in a lot of heat for his casual demeanor online, as well as his intolerance for haters, frequently informing them of the vile things they can go eat and where they can shove various items. However, the star also has a generous side and is not shy about supporting and encouraging his fellow musicians.

As a coach for NBC's The Voice, the Boys 'Round Here singer puts his enthusiasm to good use championing emerging artists like Season 4 Voice winner Danielle Bradbery. "Whoa!! Whoa!! It it my girl @Dbradbery birthday?..." declared Shelton on Twitter yesterday, "Happy birthday baby girl… I love you so much it's painful!"

At the moment, Shelton is taking a break from touring while Lambert continues to move across the country promoting her latest album, Platinum. The two are scheduled to perform, possibly together, at a Las Vegas country music festival this Fall.
