It looks like Star Wars: Episode VII will be taking its filming to another location that gives more of a glimpse on the kind of film that audiences are about to see.

Is Harrison Ford Excited To Play Han Solo Again?

On Thursday, New York Daily News posted a story from a Kerry newspaper that mentioned that filming will be taking place in Skellig Michael, an island off the Irish coast. The place is supposed to be a World Heritage site in the European country.

"Skellig Michael is being made available for a film production shoot on the island," a rep for the Kerry County's Office of Public Works said.

Carrie Fisher To Have A Completely New Look As Princess Leia?

The site posted a photo of the island, which has a rather extravagant view from far away. As the ocean looms around, there are shiny green patches all over, which shows that the film will probably have its share of sparkling moments. The site also revealed that there are ruins of an abandoned 6th Century monastery there.

The film has reportedly finished filming in Abu Dhabi and is currently shooting in London at Pinewood Studios. Cast members include Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Gwendolyn Christie, Lupita Nyong'o and Oscar Isaac. Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher are all expected to reprise their roles as Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Princess Leia.

In an interview with MTV News, Serkis mentioned that it "was quite an extraordinary feeling" to get together with the cast to go over the script for the first time.

Star Wars: Episode VII is expected to hit theaters on December 18, 2015.
