The cast of The CW's The Originals hit San Diego for Comic Con this week, boasting their enthusiasm via social media.

Actress Danielle Campbell Boasts Davina's New Power On 'The Originals'

"Nothing like brotherly love," wrote actress Danielle Campbell (Davina) on Instagram on Friday as she shared a picture of Daniel Gillies (Elijah Mikaelson) and Joseph Morgan (Klaus Mikaelson).

"Missed everyone so so much!" continued Campbell, "Thank you #comic-con for giving us another opportunity for a long dinner, great food, and better company #the originals #family #thecw".

"So proud of #TheOriginals," declared writer Carina MacKenzie on Twitter last night, "This promo is EPIC. #extremegirlpower #kol #Sharman #etc".

While the trailer for season two was a Comic Con exclusive, MacKenzie did confirm the return of original vampire Kol, brother to Klaus, Elijah, and Rebekah back on The Vampire Diaries before The Originals got their own spin-off.

While "extreme girl power" could be referring to Davina's new hold over Klaus' father Mikael (Sebastian Roche), it could also be hinting the return of Elijah and Klaus' sister Rebekah (Claire Holt) to the series. The character was written off halfway through season one when the actress decided to take a break from the show.

Joseph Morgan also had a little fun with fans on Twitter yesterday, informing them of The Originals upcoming panel and urging them to "be there or be scared". Later that evening he added, "I'll be signing autographs @LSFineArt booth 3945 @Comic_Con tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. I dare you to come see me".

The Originals returns to The CW for a second season Monday, October 6 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
