It looks like Tori Spelling's good friend Jennie Garth is coming to her defense after their former Beverly Hills 90210 co-star Ian Ziering supposedly dissed her and her reality television show, True Tori.

Did Dean McDermott Cheat On Tori Spelling With Multiple Women?

Just last month, Ziering said the show was like watching a "train wreck" and that while he still had respect for Spelling, he just couldn't understand why she would publicize her marital problems on a television show.

It just seems as there is nothing sacred," Ziering told Access Hollywood Live. "I don't know. But, I do know that Tori is a smart girl... she's a smart girl. She knows what she is going."

Garth says that Ziering's comments were "hurtful."

"On one hand, Ian does love Tori in the way we all love each other and the bond that we all share," Garth told HuffPost Life. "It was a little harsh - just the words 'How do you not watch a train wreck.'"

Garth added, "I know that that really hurt Tori. And for me, it was hard to watch just because I love her so much. It was so hard for me to see that kind of position she was in."

Meanwhile, Spelling herself has said that one day she plans on telling her four children "the truth" about their father Dean McDermott's alleged affair with Canadian fan Emily Goodhand.

She told E! Online, "I hope to be able to have a very candid conversation with them one day because I hope we will have made it through this and made it out the other side, and we survived something that was a tough thing."

Spelling and McDermott have been married since 2006 and have four children, Liam, 7, Stella, 6, Hattie, 2, and Finn, who will be turning 1 next month.
