On July 23, Jordana Brewster, who plays Mia Toretto in Fast and Furious 7, revealed an image featuring a muscle car from the movie.

The black car looks slick and sharp, and Brewster captioned it with a strong familial sense:

"Some things never change. #FastFamily #FF7"

Toretto was also Paul Walker's character, Brian O'Connor's lover in the movies. Walker's brothers Cody and Caleb stepped into help complete his character arc with Fast and Furious 7. There was already a buzz about Cody's role carrying on into the next movie, and not as Brian O'Connor (Paul Walker) but a completely new character. Judging by a picture that was revealed in the Mirror  on June 28 -- which shows Cody cosying up to Brewster -- it seems like Cody's character will help her overcome Connor's death and also end up falling in love with her.

Walker died on Nov. 30 in a car crash in Santa Clarita, Calif. He was the passenger in a car being driven by his friend, race car driver Roger Rodas, who also died in the accident. The speeding car hit a tree and instantly burst into flames, causing both the actor and Rodas to die on the spot.

Fast and Furious 7 will take off from where Fast and Furious 6 left off. Wan took over the director's role from Justin Lin, who announced earlier in the year that he will step away from directing the franchise.

The cast for the seventh installment reprising their roles include Vin Diesel, Luke Evans, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Michelle Rodriguez and Brewster. UFC Womens Bantam weight champion Ronda Rousey and ONG Bak star Tony Jaa will also star in the film.

The 40-year-old actor was halfway through filming Fast and Furious 7.

Fast and Furious 7 will hit theaters in April 2015.
