Boardwalk Empire approaches its fifth and final season this fall, and if other HBO programs like Six Feet Under and Big Love are any indications, anything and everything could happen by the time credits roll on the series finale.

Future For Willie Thompson On 'Boardwalk Empire'

Much talk has revolved around whether or not Boardwalk Empire's Nucky Thompson (Steve Buscemi) will meet his end, going on the fact that the character's real-life counterpart, Nucky Thompson, died of natural causes years later. Buscemi has quite a track record -- nearly a dozen of his characters have been killed off in television and film since he started acting three decades ago.

However, Buscemi isn't as jaded as one might think. In fact, a recent number of interviews have reminded audiences that the actor has quite a sense of humor.

In case anyone had forgotten, Buscemi showed audiences during a recent appearance on another HBO series that he has a few other talents up his sleeve.

On a recent episode of Last Week Tonight With John Oliver, the actor showed up for Oliver's bit on "harmless pandering."

Oliver introduced a number of "harmless" things beloved by viewers, including puppies and T-shirt guns. When Oliver claimed that people "love celebrities dancing" he brought out a very graceful Buscemi. While Buscemi admitted that he didn't really know how to tap dance, he kept on dancing whimsically, harkening back to perhaps the only "whimsy" Buscemi has ever showed on Boardwalk Empire during the series' Easter Sunday episode during Season 3.

In the episode, Thompson tells his nieces and nephews a story, during which he begins juggling rather skillfully in front of the entire family.

In a 2012 Q&A with HBO, Buscemi admitted that his uncle taught him how to juggle as a child and later on he aspired to be a street performer, and so he practiced regularly. Instead he tried to be a stand-up comedian before ultimately turning to acting.

Boardwalk Empire returns to HBO for a fifth and final season Sunday, September 7 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
