But, the One Direction singer seemed to be joking. A few hours later, Payne posted the complete photo showing himself in small swim trunks with the caption, "Oh I found them never mind aha".

According to E! Online on July 28, Payne's photo prank sent 1D fans into hysterics. "#Uncensoritliam" was trending on Twitter after Payne's photo went viral and some fans commented "THE 10 INCH IS REAL," while another fan wrote, "Here I lie, dead and unable to even,"

On Thursday, Payne tweeted to his followers good news about 1D's upcoming North American tour. "Really exciting news @itsjamiescott will be supporting us in Dallas and St. Louis Can't wait go check him out." Scott wrote later, "Thanks for all your support, really looking forward to the @onedirection shows next month. How is everyone today? I'm off to LA tomorrow!"

Scott has been a longtime collaborator with One Direction. He collaborated with the band on the songs Story Of My Life, You & I,  Midnight Memories and More Than This.

One Direction fans will have to wait a little bit longer however for the North American leg of the Where We Are tour. It doesn't kick off until August 1 in Toronto.
