FX's Sons of Anarchy is about to have a very unexpected guest star in the upcoming final season of the show - Glee star Lea Michele.

Michele, who plays Rachel Berry on Glee, is slated to guest star in the seventh and final season of Sons of Anarchy, the actress revealed via Twitter on Monday.

"I'll be appearing on an episode of my favorite show @SonsofAnarchy! Thank you so much @Harparbar & @sutterink #SOAFX," she tweeted.

Michele also tweeted a photo of herself with Sons of Anarchy director Paris Barclay, writing the caption, "On set at @SonsofAnarchy with my favorite person @Harparbar this is so cool! #SOAFX".

After Michele's tweet, TVLine revealed that she will be playing a truck stop waitress/single mom named Gertie who has a connection with Gemma during a "difficult time."

Michele has actually previously been rumored to appear on Sons of Anarchy in Season 7, with Barclay tweeting "Lea Michele at the 2014 Kids' Choice Awards @popcrush @msleamichele Yo, @sutterink! She ready for CHARMING, or what?"

Sutter replied, "Smoking hot. All class. Charming could use a p--- upgrade. And count on me to keep us in the gutter."

Michele joins other prominent guest stars set to appear in the final season of Sons of Anarchy, including Marilyn Manson and Courtney Love. Manson will guest star as Ron Tully, a white supremacist Jax (Charlie Hunnam) meets in prison. Love is playing Mrs. Harrison, the preschool teacher of Jax's son Abel.

The final season of Sons of Anarchy is set to begin Tuesday, Sept. 9 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX.
