A couple new teases have been released about Star Wars: Episode VII, including what kind of film that director J.J. Abrams could be delivering as well as a possible new cast member.

J.J. Abrams Has 'Nailed' 'Episode VII?'

On Friday, MTV News posted a clip with actor Benedict Cumberbatch who was recently rumored to play a part in the seventh part of the series. He mentioned that that was "possible" since he and Abrams are friends. The actor then revealed what he's expecting from the film and even gave a small hint on someone else who might have potential to make an appearance.

"I think J.J is very good at creating something original out of something known, and I think apart from his continuing use of Simon Pegg- and who can blame him, frankly- it made sense not to do it," Cumberbatch said.

One Of The Actors To Do His Own Flips?

The actor then mentioned that Abrams has an "amazing cast" and that he's "jealous."

Considering that Cumberbatch said that Pegg has a "continuing use" of being cast, it might sound like he was saying that Pegg will be used for this film although that has not been established just yet. It's also possible that Cumberbatch could have just been joking and hasn't confirmed anything.

Some of the current cast members include Andy Serkis, Gwendolyn Christie, Domhnall Gleeson, Lupita Nyong'o and Oscar Isaac. Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher are also expected to reprise their roles as Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Princess Leia.

Star Wars: Episode VII is expected to hit theaters on December 18, 2015.
