Season 3 of Arrow was previewed at Comic-Con on July 24 and while talking about what fans can expect, Stephen Amell, who plays Oliver Queen on The CW series, dished about his first date with Felicity (Emily Bett-Rickards).

HitFlix reported from the event, and producers Marc Guggenheim and Greg Berlanti also weighed in on 'Olicity's' fate.

"They go for Italian," Guggenheim joked.

"We weren't trying to fake anybody out with Oliver's confession to her at the end of the year last year, so we'll deal with that directly this year," Berlanti said. "This year they just go out on a date and... yeah..."

But the real spoiler came from Amell who suggested that this will definitely not be a great start to the relationship. He said the date would go "horribly."

Recently, producer Andrew Kreisberg also revealed that things wouldn't go well during that first date. Speaking to E!Online at the CW's 2014 Summer TCA Party, Kreisberg had already hinted at the fact.

"There's actually a line in the script where after you see what happens on the date, she even says, 'That was still not my worst date!'" he said.

Kreisberg went on to elaborate about how things will pan out for the couple and that their relationship is not of utmost importance to Oliver right now.

"So much of this season as a whole is about Oliver trying to figure out if he can be both Oliver Queen and the Arrow and finding out if there's a life for himself beyond the hood," he said. "He's taking his first tentative steps towards that in the premiere. That's really going to be a struggle for him for the whole season."

The finale of season 2 of Arrow aired on May 14 on the CW.

Season 3 premieres on October 8 on The CW.
