Country superstar Carrie Underwood is a proud Nashville resident. She is a proud supporter of the Grand Ole Opry and her husband Mike Fisher plays for the NHL Nashville Predators. While Underwood is glad to call Nashville her home, it didn't stop her from embracing the local culture while performing in enemy territory on Saturday.

According to The Florida Times Union, the star was seen wearing a Jacksonville Jaguars jersey during her performance at EverBank Field. In the NFL world, the Jaguars and the Tennessee Titans don't necessarily see eye to eye.

Nonetheless, Underwood proved to be a gracious guest during her time in Jacksonville. Her performance came with the installation of new video boards at the stadium, and to celebrate the Jaguars gifted the country singer with her own jersey, complete with her own last name.

New Details On Carrie Underwood's Upcoming Album

Underwood continues to work on her new, presently untitled album. The singer first announced that she'd been writing new material back in June when she performed at The Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. She told fans that her latest endeavor would feel "different" from her previous work, though still remain true to who she is both as a person and as an artist.

The star isn't just working on new music, she's also busy touring the country this summer, with upcoming stops in Illinois and Colorado. She will also be featured on NBC's Sunday Night Football premiere this fall.

Earlier this month Underwood was announced as one of the headliners for the Global World Citizen Festival in Central Park on September 27.
