Aaliyah said, "If at first you don't succeed, dust yourself off and try again. Try again."

President Barrack Obama took this into consideration last night as he, wife Michelle and daughter Malia were present as the USA Basketball team played against Brazil at the Verizon Center in Washington D.C.

With a chance to kiss his wife on the arena's kiss cam, President Obama and the First lady were in the middle of a conversation. It is possible that they did not notice they were on the kiss cam, which appeared on the jumbotron on center court.

The President looked up but by that time the fans were already booing.

You can watch it on your own and see if the Obamas knew they were on the kiss cam.

He leans in and acts like he is going to give Michelle and the crowd some action, but in reality, he continued to yap away.

Props must be given to the president as he did not squander the second opportunity. With daughter Malia encouraging the couple to go for it, the Obamas pleased the crowd and smooched on the kiss cam.

The US basketball team took a page out of Obama's book. They were down in the first quarter, but did not squander any opportunities and eventually took control of the game and walked out with a victory.

They trailed 27-17 in the first quarter, but with tight defense and great offensive production from LeBron James, who finished with 30 points, the US team was able to rally back for the 80-69 win.
