Hilary Duff not only released her new song Chasing the Sun, but the former Lizzie McGuire star also just revealed the track's new video.

The video has Duff in an office setting imagining herself at the beach with an attractive gentleman. Duff also shows off her impressive figure in a black bikini.

The new single from Duff was written by singer Colbie Caillat, Jason Reeves and Toby Gad.

"I took a break from music for quite awhile, but it gave me the power to choose my next steps carefully and I'm really proud of the album I've made," Duff said in a statement to Billboard. "Chasing the Sun is a light and fun summer song that I hope helps people to feel a little more carefree."

Duff also has been working on a full length album with songwriters such as Ed Sheeran. "She's been gone for so long living family life that I think there are a lot of fans waiting for something new," Sheeran shared with Digital Spy. "I feel like her record is not what they will expect. Obviously she comes from Lizzie McGuire and that pop world, but she's more grown up now, so it's more of an adult alternative acoustic sound."

On Friday, Duff couldn't hide her excitement that her new song was finally coming out. "I am so excited for this Tuesday! I can't believe it's all happening finallly #ChasingTheSun thanks for all the [love]," she tweeted.

On Monday, Duff also tweeted "Guess what! I am feeling so loved so grateful for all my many blessings." Duff hasn't released new music in a very longtime, instead concentrating on her raising her son Luca with ex-husband Mike Comrie.
