Just like her character on Grey's Anatomy, Sarah Drew is pregnant!

The 33-year-old actress and her husband Peter Lanfer confirmed that they are expecting their second child this December. They welcomed their son, Micah Emmanuel, in January 2012.

"Peter and I are delighted to announce our pregnancy," Drew told People magazine in a statement. "We can't wait to introduce Micah to his little brother or sister."

The actress also posted an adorable photo on Twitter of her growing baby bump with the caption, "Nope. That's not a fake belly :)."

Fans found out on the season 10 finale of Grey's Anatomy that Drew's character, April Kepner, and her husband Jackson Avery (Jesse Williams) were expecting a baby. However, it won't be an easy road for the two, who have different views on raising children.

"Their honeymoon bubble is over. Now they have to deal with the real-life enormity of the very quick decision that they made," Drew told TVGuide.com. "It causes some tension that they're going to have to work out. She doesn't know how she feels about whether she wants a child now or whether they'll ever be able to reconcile their differences in how they want to raise their kids."

At the same time, the pair is happy about the prospect of having a baby, they just have to find a way to deal with their different opinions. "More than anything, they want to fight for one another, they really do. At the core of who they are, they are each other's person and they love each other so much. They can't imagine living life without one another," Drew added.

Season 11 of Grey's Anatomy premieres on Thursday, Sept. 25 at 8/7c on ABC.
