Soon to be married Olympian archer Jennifer Nichols revealed that she was a virgin and even saved her first kiss for her fiance Chris Hardy. Nichols, who is known to be a devout Christian, told Us Weekly: "I saved my first kiss for the man I knew I was going to marry -- my fiance. I made that commitment when I was about 13 years old. I knew that I wanted to save my kiss on top of purity. I felt like a kiss was something very special and I wanted to save that."

Nichols and Hardy have been dating since December 2009 and are set to tie the knot in fall this year. Nichol's 25-year-old fiance is apparently planning for their wedding as she trains for the London 2012 Olympics.

"Chris is extremely involved in the planning process," she tells Us Weekly. "Chris is extremely involved in the planning process....We Skype like crazy. We email links back and forth of wedding venues and photographers.".

The 28-year-old Olympian started archery when she was only 12 years old. She represented the United States in the 2004 Summer Olympics and 2008 Summer Olympics. She has since been featured in Vogue Magazine.

Nichols is not the only Olympian who has saved her virginity for marriage.

Olympic track and field star Lolo Jones, 29, is also keeping her virginity, although she admitted that it has been very hard.

"It's just something, a gift that I want to give to my husband," she said about her virginity in an interview with HBO's "Real Sports."

"But please understand this journey has been hard. If there's virgins out there, I just want to let them know, it's the hardest thing I've ever done in my life. Harder than training for the Olympics, harder than graduating from college, has been to stay a virgin before marriage."

NFL quarterback Tim Tebow has also maintained his virginity and believes in abstinence before marriage.
